Search "best XAUUSD signals" and you will find a hundred accounts all claiming to be number one. Most show screenshots of huge wins and say nothing about their losses. So how do you actually tell a good gold signal service from a scam? Here is the honest checklist we would use ourselves.

1. A published, timestamped track record

This is the single most important test. A real provider publishes every trade — wins *and* losses — with the date and time each was posted.

If all you can see is a highlight reel of winners on Instagram, walk away. Anyone can screenshot wins (or fake them). What you want is a full record you can scroll through, like our results page, where the losing trades sit right next to the winners.

2. Every signal has a stop loss

A signal without a stop loss is not a signal — it is a gamble. Proper setups always define risk up front: entry, stop loss, and take-profit. If a provider posts "BUY GOLD NOW 🚀" with no stop, they are not managing risk, and neither will you.

3. Honest, modest pricing

Be suspicious of two extremes:

  • "Free" signals that are really funnels to a shady broker (the provider earns when you lose).
  • $200/month "VIP mentorships" promising you will get rich.

A fair, sustainable price for gold signals is usually a few dollars to a few tens of dollars a month. Ours is 10 USDT — low enough that a single decent trade covers many months.

4. No promises of guaranteed profit

Nobody wins every trade. A trustworthy provider says so plainly. If someone guarantees profits or shows a 100% win rate, that is a lie by definition — real trading has losing streaks, and honesty about them is a *good* sign, not a bad one.

5. They do not ask for your phone number or broker password

You should never hand over account credentials. Legitimate delivery happens through a channel like a Telegram bot — you connect in one tap, no phone number, no passwords. (We wrote a full guide on how Telegram signal delivery works.)

Red-flag checklist

Avoid any provider that:

  • Only shows wins, never losses
  • Guarantees profits or shows a "100% win rate"
  • Posts signals with no stop loss
  • Pushes you to deposit with one specific broker
  • Asks for your phone number, broker login, or a large upfront "VIP" fee

The honest bottom line

The "best" XAUUSD signals are not the ones with the flashiest screenshots — they are the ones that are transparent, disciplined, and fairly priced. That is exactly the standard we hold ourselves to: every trade published, a stop loss on every setup, and a price anyone can afford.
