For most brokers, 1 pip on gold is a 0.10 move in price. So a move from 2340.00 to 2340.10 is 1 pip. A move from 2340 to 2358 is 180 pips.

How do you calculate pips on a gold trade?

Take the difference between your exit and entry price and divide by 0.10. Example: (2358 − 2340) ÷ 0.10 = 180 pips. This calculator does it for you.

Is a gold pip the same as a forex pip?
